Ham Squad is/was the basketball team of dreams.
Somethings only happen once in a generation, I am blessed to be apart of the most substantial gathering of lackluster talent to congregate on a basketball court. Bad we were, arguments were had, teammates were lost, Adam was dunked on. But the experience solidified my friendship with many of my greatest friends. We never once got close to actually winning a game, we often were made fun of by not only the other team, the refs, but even the families of players on both teams.
I never knew how hard it would be to be on a losing team. I think the team actually had a positive impact on my life. You can't win everything and you shouldn’t expect to be able to. Sometimes things are not within reach for you, and they may never be. I will never be president, that’s fine. I won’t be sad, I don’t need to be the President. I just gotta be me and do the best I can. Just because I didn’t score more points than the other team doesn’t really make a difference at this moment.

First you have Tim:
Fast as heck, man!
Can get higher than he appears to be able to.
Likes to hang loose.
Great friend.
Then of course, Jeff:
Appears to be a Rat of unusual size.
Can shoot a orange into another orange ring, good like.
Often has slime.
Jake, the mean bean:
Has all the powers of a lima bean without the negatives.
once had a block in-game that was spectacular.
Lives in a zoo.
Next, Zach:
Plays for the lakers, currently.
Scored a single basket in a Ham Squad jersey.
Started as a team to a lima bean.
From the swamp, Adam:
Will rid house of insects.
Very durable, can be dunked on and still have self respect.
Good friend to the swamps and I.
Will ribbit for the right price.
From the frozen tundra, Mike:
Consistently the only good player on team.
Made of several pieces of ice.
