My Easter Date
My easter, the first one away from much of my family, was a great one. Truth be told, I have never been a big fan of easter, it seems like an odd one. I know the significance of it religiously and such. Although, much like all holidays, I think it is best to just be a time you get to spend with your loved ones and focus on that!
So for our day, we decided, waffles. We get in the car to leave, decide it is rude to just go without inviting the family that I have here, so after 45 minutes of them getting ready, waffles.
From waffles we get cake, adorable bunny shaped cake.
From cake we went on a short little hike, but it was a pretty one. All around this area of California are little lost resorts in the woods, some are easier to find, such as the one we passed on our hike. They almost always have a source of spring water that has something special about it. Whether it tastes good, or gives you super powers, or a tummy ache. Nonetheless, they’re cool.
After the hike, we went down a random road in the woods where we determined that the jeep is fit to be taken off-roading. We ended the night by watching young Frankenstein, which I believe is an Easter classic.
